Glass Expert set up in 2002

Glass Expert srl was set up in 2002, its capital being entirely domestic. Its core business is the processing and finishing of sheet glass. The production equipment enabling us to perform any type of sheet glass processing is located in a production area of 3000 sqm, of which 1200 sqm are just the production halls, where both the endowment and the hired personnel are organized in such a way to rapidly deliver the products and services you need at high quality standards.

State-of-the-art technology provided by Glass Expert

From the very beginning, Glass Expert laid great emphasis on technology, so that we invested each year in state-of-the-art equipment that currently allows us to perform high quality works.

Among the existing equipment, some of them are listed below:

• tempered glass production line - Tamglass Pro-E with glass tempering and semi-tempering possibilities, with the following dimensions: 4500mm x 2500mm. The production capacities for tempered glass are of about 1000 sqm of glass per 24 hours. We can temper Low-E hard or Low-E soft glass, pattern glass, colored glass mass, clear glass and basically any type of glass that can be tempered.
• testing equipment for tempered glass by using the "Heat-Soak" method- Simtech Due to the critical presence of nickel sulphide in the glass structure, certain projects require the testing of tempered glass by using an additional technical treatment called "Heat-Soak Test". Glass Expert is able to do this. 
• laminated glass production line - Simtech with glass rolling possibilities, with the following dimensions: 4500 x 1800 mm. We can laminate glass packages with a thickness up to 100mm. We can laminate glass with 1, 2 or more sheets. We can laminate clear, colored, pattern, Low-E glass.

• glass processing equipment in CNC coordinates - Itermac 45Plus can process glass with the following dimensions: 4200 x 2300 mm. It is used for special orders when we need precision in execution. We can perform all the finishing operations that can be applied on a glass: edge finishing, engraving, disk cutting, cutting, drilling etc.
• glass bending furnace - Nabertherm  with interior dimensions: 2500(L) x 1500(l) x 800(h) mm, completely automated to process glass by different hot technologies: fusing, slumping, bending, sagging. 
• glass drilling equipment using coordinates - CMB can perform drillings of a glass plate or of several glass plates without manual actions, only on the basis of the software entered from the control panel computer. The drilling mass of this machine is controlled by a microprocessor which activates all the drilling operation functions. The precision and accuracy of holes performed in glass have maximum values, and the hole diameters range between 3 and 65mm.
  edge processing machine for flat glass - Z. Bavelloni, can finish glass edges with thickness varying between 3 - 30 mm and edge angles between 0 - 45^o.  The finish process is performed by using 14 cutters, the last 4 using cerium oxide for the edge polish. All the 14 cutters and polish brushes are mechanically placed through a digital-controlled electronic system, the adjusting data being entered from the control panel keyboard. The technical characteristics of this machine allow us to finish about 250ml / hour, the minimum window dimensions that can be processed on this machine being 80 x 200mm, while the maximum are the manufacturing dimensions.
